Hotel Ritvi's Elite is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including guests who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard alone, or at a high zoom level.
Our commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is treated as part of building and maintaining the site, not as a one-off exercise, and it is re-checked whenever pages change.
What we have done
- Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, and a “Skip to content” link is the first item in the tab order.
- Text and background colours are checked against the WCAG AA contrast thresholds.
- Images that carry meaning have descriptive alternative text; images that are purely decorative are hidden from screen readers.
- Headings follow a single logical order on each page, with one main heading per page.
- Every form field has a visible, permanently associated label.
- Pages reflow without horizontal scrolling down to a 320 pixel screen width, and text can be enlarged in the browser.
- Animation is reduced automatically when your device asks for reduced motion.
- The current page is marked in the navigation by both a colour change and an underline, so colour is never the only signal.
Known limitations
We are honest about what is not finished yet:
- Photographs of the hotel are decorative and are described briefly rather than in full detail.
- Some third-party content, such as an embedded map, is outside our control and may not meet the same standard. Where that happens we provide the same information in text, and the address and directions are always available on the Location page.
